The role
We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse Team Lead; You will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring personalised and evidence-based care for veterans. You’ll oversee telehealth operations, help develop care plans, and support a team of 7-10 nurses in delivering continuous care. You will report directly to the General Manager-Health Care Plans.
This role is based in Spring Hill, with occasional travel to our Algester office as required.

Responsibilities
- Guide the development of patient-centred and evidence-based care plans.
- Monitor and assess the quality of nursing care.
- Empower the nursing team to educate veterans on medication, health literacy, and lifestyle changes ensuring holistic care.
- Guide and support the nursing team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure consistently high-quality telehealth care, while promoting accountability and teamwork.
- Promote collaboration between the nursing team and broader healthcare network for coordinated care.
- Advocate for veterans’ healthcare needs, ensuring compassionate, tailored support.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse) and Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident
- Minimum of 2 years in a team leader or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
- Full-time availability to work within a dynamic, telehealth-based environment.
- Experience in care plan development or chronic disease management is preferred.
- Proficiency in using digital platforms (e.g., Halaxy and Best Practice) with experience in delivering care through telehealth services.
- Compassionate & understanding approach to veteran care
- Hold a drivers licence & have the ability to work from 2 locations as required by the GM
