The role

  • Lead the operational strategy and delivery of the Retrospective Medical Discharge (RMD) department
  • Oversee the development and refinement of client engagement systems, ensuring efficiency and legal compliance
  • Manage and mentor a growing team of legal and support professionals
  • Drive case progression from initial client contact through to outcome delivery
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and departmental growth
  • Champion continuous improvement in client service and internal workflows
  • Ensure high standards of documentation and data integrity are maintained across the RMD portfolio

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in management role, ideally within legal, healthcare, insurance, or not-for-profit sectors
  • Proven track record in leading teams and operational systems
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with sensitive or confidential information
  • High level of emotional intelligence and stakeholder management
