The Intensive Trauma Treatment Centre (ITTC) in Stafford, Brisbane is seeking skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologists to join our dedicated team. As part of our team, you will play a key role in supporting veterans who have experienced trauma, providing them with the specialised care and treatment necessary for their recovery and well-being. This exciting contract opportunity offers flexibility, allowing you to apply your expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment that specialises in evidence-based trauma treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for trauma clients
- Provide individual therapy using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, EMDR2.0 and Prolonged Imaginal Exposure Therapy
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team of clinicians to ensure holistic, client-centred care
- Maintain detailed case notes and contribute to the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of client progress
- Assist with the development and delivery of psychoeducation workshops for clients

Successful applicant will have
- Experience in exposure therapy and/or EMDR preferred (training can be provided)
- Fully registered and accredited as a Clinical Psychologist
- Experience working with complex trauma clients, including trauma-informed practice and the provision of evidence-based trauma-focused therapies
- Strong clinical skills in psychological assessment, case formulation, and the design and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans
- A strong ethical approach to clinical practice
